HOMES go-ahead: The application for 57 dwellings at the old Kempshott Park Industrial Estate, in Longwood Copse Drive, in Beggarwood, was granted at the borough council’s development control meeting last Wednesday.
HAVE your say: The community association has put in a bid for community funding from Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council to support the work of the youth wing.
If successful, this bid should enable the Warren to offer more hours of opening focusing on health and wellbeing advice. To learn how you can support this bid, please see the centre’s website at hatchwarren.org.
DANCE success: Many congratulations to the team of dancers from Brighton Hill Community School, who took part in Rock Challenge at the Guildhall Southampton. The team performed brilliantly and won this area’s heat.
They now move on to the next stage in Portsmouth. Well done to everyone who took part and to all the teaching staff from the school who were involved in this.
