A NEW dating advice service for women who want to find Mr Right has started in Basingstoke.

Have Fun Finding The One is a new online business set up by dating coach Sharon Vickery, who after spending much of her 30s being single and dating online still found herself with the Big 40 looming and no significant other in her life.

Convinced that there had to be an easier way to meet the right man, Sharon said: “I had used online dating sites for over five years, but found working through the maze of profiles and emails and disappointing dates so disheartening.

“I knew the concept of online dating was a great one as it increases the odds of you meeting single men dramatically. However, I still wasn’t meeting the men, or man, I wanted.

“And that’s when it hit me – online dating had the quantity aspect covered, but not the quality.”

Having spent nearly a year researching men, dating and how to make finding “The One” as easy and fun as possible, Sharon believes that she has found a way of making the chances of a connection greater – avoiding unnecessary years of being single and those awkward dates where there is no chemistry.

“Knowing how to find the man who you’ll have that chemistry with and then how to keep him once you’ve found him is vital,”

said Sharon, whose website havefunfindingtheone.co.uk offers plenty of advice to visitors as well as acting as a blog.

On the website, users can order e- books, CDs as well as join a mem- bership service called Inner Circle, which offers regular bite-size doses of dating advice, plus an instant dating advice call service.

The accredited life coach set the business up after returning from working in India where she worked with street children for three years.

Judging from the take-up of her advice service in its first month, Sharon said she certainly feels she is filling a gap in the market.

She said: “We spend so much time making our businesses and career a success, but one thing that brings us true happiness is having people who are important to us in our lives and someone special to spend our lives with.

“That’s what I really focus people on and how to create a successful and happy relationship.”
