McDonald's in Aldershot reopens following redesign

The Aldershot restaurant has reopened after a redesign aimed at improving both the customer and employee experience.

Mark Schweizer, the franchisee who owns and operates the site, said: "I’m proud to reinvest in our Aldershot restaurant.

"The dining area is more contemporary, and we now have separate facilities for our dine-in customers and our couriers, leading to a better experience for everyone.

"It’s exciting to see the fresh new look and feel of our Aldershot restaurant and I’m confident the changes will not only benefit our customers but also our restaurant team as these will help make their jobs a little easier."

The redesign is part of McDonald’s wider reimaging programme, which focuses on improving speed, efficiency and choice for diners through updated layouts and new technology.

The kitchen and dining areas have been reconfigured to better support digital ordering through the McDonald’s app.

The front counter has been removed in favour of dedicated zones for different order types.

The refurbishment also includes upgraded crew facilities to give staff a more comfortable space during breaks.
