A BASINGSTOKE-based law firm has taken on a new, experienced licensed conveyancer
Verity Lees has joined Phillips Solicitors’ residential property team dealing with all aspects of conveyancing, from sales and purchases, dealing with new builds to shared ownership properties, transfer of equity and re-mortgages.
Originally from Devon, Verity studied law at the University of Sheffield and later worked as a paralegal before qualifying with the Council of Licensed Conveyancers in 2012, when she earned the accolade of student of the year.
Based at the firm’s Town Gate offices in London Street, in Basingstoke’s Top of The Town, Verity said: “I’m delighted to work for Phillips Solicitors. The firm has always had a very good reputation in the area and when a firm has The Legal 500 accreditation it gives it more of a cutting edge.”
Phillips director and head of the residential property team, Zoë Baxter, said: "Verity has settled in very well within our busy team. Her attention to detail, high standards and professional manner providing excellent and efficient service to our clients shows that she is a great asset to the firm.”
