A PUB has re-opened its doors following a major refurbishment and celebrated with a special event.

The Longbridge Mill, part of the Vintage Inns collection, in Sherfield On Loddon has recently been renovated by new landlord, Valentina Pavel.

Valentina said: “We wanted the new look to provide guests with a cosy pub where they can enjoy dinner, have a few drinks after a long country walk with their four-legged friends or simply to relax and read the Sunday paper.

“The Longbridge Mill is in a fantastic river-side location, and we have an amazing support network around us, so we hope that all of our guests, both regulars and first-timers love the transformation.”

To celebrate the opening, The Longbridge Mill held a Taste of Vintage event where guests were able to sample a selection of the new dishes.

The event took place on Friday, 3 November.

Speaking about the event, Valentina added: “We are so pleased to have reopened the Longbridge Mill, and the team thought what better way to celebrate than with our very own Taste of Vintage event.

“We wanted to invite guests, both those who have been coming to us for years, and those who may not have stepped foot into the pub before, to enjoy the new look, as well as sample tasters from the new menu!

“We couldn’t be happier with how the refurb went, and we hope locals and visitors to the area will stop by and enjoy it with us.”

Valentina hopes that visitors will enjoy the pub throughout the year.

The pub features a working mill, which produces flour every four weeks which can be bought by guests.
