THE closing date for entries to a young entrepreneur competition is looming.
The Haines Watts Young Entrepreneur (HYWE) contest deadline is on Saturday, 30 September, ahead of the finals of the competition on November 16.
Prizes for the competition include PR for entrant’s business, cash and a mentoring partner at the chartered accountants Haines Watts.
The HWYE competition is open to young entrepreneurs under 35 from around the Thames Valley area.
Entry is free with applicants needing provide some details about their company and why it should win. Applicants must have been in business for over a year but there is no lower age limit.
Barry Potter, partner at the Basingstoke office of Haines Watts, said: “This is the last call for entries for this year’s competition so don’t miss out. Also, if you know someone who might be a great candidate, pass on the details – we’ll be starting the selection process in October and would love to hear from you.”
