A NEW science and technology themed event supported by this newspaper group will be held in the county later this month.
Hampshire County Council's economic development team, alongside Southampton-based communications agency React Comms, are organising Nucleus on November 19 as part of global entrepreneurship week.
It will be hosted by the University of Southampton Science Park.
Nucleus will highlight Hampshire’s talent for attracting innovative entrepreneurs, with thought-provoking presentations, participative breakout workshops and revolutionary exhibitor showcases.
Councillor Séan Woodward, Executive member for economy, transport and environment from HCC, said: “Innovation is at the heart of Hampshire, and Nucleus will highlight the businesses and individuals that create and invent on a daily basis; the people who are putting Hampshire on the world stage as an innovation power house.”
The Nucleus event is free to attend and registration is now open. Simply go to www.hantsnucleus.co.uk to sign up. Here you will also soon be able to book onto a host of workshops and breakout sessions on a wide variety of subjects from 3D printing and UAVs to attracting business investment.
