CELEBRATING success was on the menu as six accountancy students were treated to lunch by CMA Recruitment Group.
Bosses at the accountancy, finance executive and HR firm, based in London Street, took the AAT students – three from BCoT and three from Farnborough College – to Zizzi in the Top of The Town to acknowledge their outstanding exam success.
The Association of Accounting Technicians students all received the AAT Student of the Year accolade.
At the celebratory lunch, the six winners were presented with a bottle of Champagne, a trophy and book tokens.
Hayley Surey, of CMA Recruitment Group, said: “CMA is very supportive of all of the accountancy institutes and we like to recognise the outstanding achievements of local students.
“This year’s winners have all proven their determination to pass their exams in order to either commence or continue to work within the finance arena.”
Hayley said CMA has supported AAT students and local colleges for over 15 years and is always impressed with the high standard of work that is evident year after year.
She said: “In a competitive market-place, employers appreciate the benefits of having well trained and technically competent accounts staff.”
