IT’S set to be a big attraction in Basingstoke – and Tracy Goffin will get to play a key part in its success.

Tracy has been named as the general manager for the soon-to-be launched Airkix indoor skydiving simulator at Basingstoke Leisure Park.

Tracy has worked in the hospitality industry for more than 20 years in a variety of managerial roles, most recently for Whitbread where, until joining Airkix, she ran the Spruce Goose Pub, at the Leisure Park.

Excited about her new challenge, Tracy said: “I was ready for a change, but didn’t expect it to come in the shape of indoor skydiving!

“Airkix has been the talk of the town for some time now and to be on the inside when the doors open is almost too good to be true.

“I can’t wait for us to start flying, so the people of Basingstoke can share my thrill.”

Airkix chief executive Simon Ward said: “I’m delighted to welcome Tracy to the Aircrew.

“Our business is always about giving our customers – our flyers – a truly great experience and Tracy understands this completely.”

He added: “She has a talented team who are eager to get Basingstoke flying and smiling.”
