THE BASINGSTOKE AND DEANE BOROUGH COUNCIL (TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE! (FOOTPATH BETWEEN NORTHERN AND SOUTHERN SECTION OF BASING VIEW. BASINGSTOKE) ORDER 2016
Notice is hereby given that Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council pursuant to arrangements made under Section 101 of the Local Government Act 1972 with Hampshire County Council in exercise of the powers of the said County Council and in exercise of the powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act"), and of all other enabling powers, proposes to make the following Orden-
Rreason for Order: All pedestrians will be prohibited from travelling on the footpath because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road.
 All pedestrians will be prohibited from travelling on the footpath because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road.
Effect of Order All pedestrians will be prohibited from travelling along the footpath between the northern and southern section of Basing View, Basingstoke, as directed by signs. The closure is to allow for drainage improvement works in and around the subway.
Duration of Order The order will come into effect on 03 April 2017 for 1 Year. (Notmthstoedinn tie ebove it h expected the closure will be for 4 weeks illy. Advance warning notices will be displayed)
Alternate Route: From the southern end of the footpath closure, west and then north along Basing View to the northern most point of the footpath closure or by this route reversed.
