BAXTER Rita (nee Woods) 2.2.1929 27.12.2021 Beloved wife of Ron, cherished mother of Jill and John and step-children Christopher and Michael and much loved grandmother and great grandmother. A kind and generous woman with a delightful personality, Rita lived in Oakley for many years before marrying Ron in 1997 and moving to Basingstoke, where she worked at BCOT as Senior Personal Assistant to the Principal, until she retired. She was very happy there and enjoyed being able to help and advise many students. Rita also liked to be active and involved in the community and was an enthusiastic and popular member of Oakley Bowling Club for 30 years and a member of the Soroptimists. Her top priority, however, was always her family, for she was a very loving and thoughtful mother and grandmother who never forgot birthdays and other anniversaries. Rita was a very special person who brought joy .into many lives and she will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
