In loving memory of John Doswell Who passed away peacefully at Sydenham House Care Home, Bridgwater on 11/03/2020 aged 91. John was a Basingstoke man who would walk to town every morning from Oakridge to have breakfast and then sit outside M&S to watch the world go by. When his health started to deteriorate, he moved to Bridgwater 2 years ago. He will be dearly missed by his children Julie, Janice, Tony, his sister Eve, 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and his treasured friend of many years Sheila. Funeral service to take place at Basingstoke Crematorium on Wednesday 8/04/2020 at 14.45. Family flowers only, donations if desired for Sydenham House Care Home that can be sent c/o Tadley Funeralcare 48 Bishopswood Road, Tadley RG26 4HD. The family wishes to say a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Sydenham House, Bridgwater who looked after dad with so much care & compassion. During his final days he was treated with dignity and respect, to which we will be eternally grateful.
