BASINGSTOKE Town will look to continue their great home form when Redditch visit on Saturday.

The Dragons have not lost at the Camrose this season since the opening day of the campaign, winning four of their last five games on home soil.

They will also be looking to bounce back after defeats at Hitchin 2-1 and Weymouth 3-2 and manager Terry Brown admitted the performances were like chalk and cheese.

Brown said: “We were awful against Hitchin, but I felt the boys deserved something out of the Weymouth game he should have ended a draw. All players told me the penalty which won them the game was not a pen, but that is football for you.”

The Weymouth game saw Aaron Holt make his league debut for Town and Brown said: “He was not at fault for any of the goal and got a hand to the penalty.”

He came into the line-up, as Colum McAdden was forced out due to a hand injury and could still be missing this weekend.

Brown is also hoping to have a new forward in the line-up for Saturday, if not he will make his debut at Fleet on Tuesday night in Southern League Cup.

Looking ahead to the visit of Redditch, the Town boss said: "They have had a great start to the season, but lost 4-1 against Slough on Tuesday. This proves they are beatable, but I am expecting a tough game."
