WE HAD a very frustrating afternoon against Bishop’s Stortford last Saturday.

We created a number of chances and on another day we would have been a couple of goals up before Stortford scored.

Once again, a team came to stop us from playing and the result might make people think they succeeded, but we created numerous chances and should have taken something from the game.

The reaction to that defeat will now be key as we approach some very tough games. The players have been first class this season and have reacted to defeats in a really positive manner.

We know that Concord Rangers will provide extremely tough opposition on Saturday as their work-rate will test us to the maximum.

They play some very good football and have had some fantastic results. We will need to be on song from the first minute to the last if we are to get anything from the game.

Then, on Tuesday, we face Bath City. We had a good win at their place early in the season, but they caused us problems early on and are another side in good form.

On the injury front, the only casualty we currently have is Jamie Brown. He is recovering well after having an operation on his groin and it will be great to have him back in the squad for the all important run-in.

This week we had our first information evening for youngsters interested in joining the academy next year. It was extremely well attended and we received some really positive feedback.

The new intake is already looking strong, but we have further trials in April and May if anyone is interested.

Regards,

Jason
