BASINGSTOKE Town will be hoping to extend their unbeaten run in the Southern League Premier Division to five games this coming week.

The Dragons are currently 13th in the table travel to Redditch on Saturday, who are four places and three points behind them.

Then on Tuesday night, they entertain Stratford, who are 14th and hope it will be third time lucky, as the previous two scheduled fixtures at the Camrose have been postponed.

This Saturday, Town will hope to collect another league double, having beaten Redditch 3-0 in September.

Marcus Johnson-Schuster scored one of the goals of the season with a 30 yard wonder strike during this contest, while Ben Wright converted a penalty and Callum Bunting netted the third.

Redditch are winless in their last six, while Town are on their best run of away form this season after a win at Biggleswade and draw at Banbury.

The visitors have doubts on Sam Smart (hamstring) and Dan Bayliss (swollen ankle), while midfielder Dan Collier will be on the bench and is expected to see some time.

Manager Terry Brown said: "Redditch are a decent side so I do not expect an easy game. We are playing on Astro, but that is no excuse as we train on it every day."

Town home game against Bishop’s Stortford postponed last Saturday will now be played on Tuesday March 20.
