BASINGSTOKE Town manager Terry Brown is calling on the people of the town, as well as the club's fans to sign up to the new community club.

The club are holding a Fans Forum tomorrow evening starting at 7pm at the Camrose club house to launch the new membership scheme for the community club.

This will give everyone in the town the chance to be part of their local football club.

Membership is priced at £10 and £5 juniors.

The money will go towards financing the team for the up coming season, as the side are not longer being bankrolled by owner Rafi Razzak.

Town boss Brown said: "I am hoping we can raise enough money to increase my playing budget so I can sign a few more players we are only working to a budget of £2,000 a week.

"If I can have this budget I see no reason why we cannot have a good season and the fans and people of Basingstoke can feel a part of the success.

"Without the money we will be in for a really tough time."
