BASINGSTOKE Town will hope it is third time lucky on Saturday, as after two draws in their last two games they can chalk up a win, when Kettering are the visitors.

The Northamptonshire side are one of the favourites to win the Southern League Premier Division and are currently seventh with two wins from the four starts.

Dragons boss Terry Brown will be without suspended defender Tamille Roach for just this game, while Aaron Redford and Richie Whittingham are still more than a week away for a return.

Brown is hopeful defender Joe Gater will be fit again, after missing Tuesday's home draw with Hayes and Yeading.

If not then they will need to reshuffle their ranks and experienced Matt Partridge could well slot into the defence for the visit of the Poppies.

Looking ahead to Saturday's game Brown said: "Kettering are on of the big teams in this league and I am expecting a tough game, but we need to start winning. I am looking for other players to start scoring as at the moment the pressure is on the two young lads (Aaron Jarvis and George Hallahan) to get all our goals. They are both playing well, but we need to take the pressure off them and get goals from other areas."
