THIS weekend we once again face Chelmsford City, this time in the league.

After a convincing win for us last week, I would be very surprised if Chelmsford don’t change a few things for the game this week.

It might be personnel, it might be the system they play, but it’s important we are prepared and ready for this.

We had a lot of possession last week and I’m sure they will try to do something to change that.

They will be looking for ways to stop us, both individually and as a team.

We need to come up with a plan B and prepare for any changes they might make, which is what we have been doing since Saturday evening.

It will be a totally different game. We were the better side on Saturday, but that is gone.

We simply cannot just turn up and expect the same result or performance. We need to work hard to make it happen again.

We scored some fantastic individual and team goals and created several other chances last week.

We could have scored more, but it’s important we continue to create and take chances like we did on Saturday.

The cup draw saw us given a home tie against Torquay United.

That immediately brought back memories for a lot of people of the time we played them in the FA Cup 26 years ago.

I was on terraces as a nine-year-old boy, cheering Town on that day.

Let’s hope the result will be reversed this time round.

It was great to see a lot of smiling faces in the crowd on Saturday. I hope we see many more of these this week.

As ever, thank you for your continued support.
