Double defeat for Basingstoke Town youngsters
BASINGSTOKE Town’s Academy team had a bad week, losing games in both the league and cup.
Jason Bristow’s youngsters made their exit from the league cup last Wednesday, losing 2-1 away at Southampton Sparsholt. Sushant Magar was the Basingstoke scorer.
On Monday, Town’s youngsters lost 4-3 away at Brentford Bees, putting in a performance that Bristow described as one of their worst of the season. George Hallahan, Tyler Stephens and James Sayer were the Basingstoke scorers.
