THE dates have been set for Basingstoke Town’s 2015 academy trials.
The Basingstoke Town Football Academy offers a two-year programme combining football coaching with a full-time education programme. Trials will take place at The Soccer AM Stadium on February 17, April 7, April 14 and May 6.

The current academy team were edged out at the end of a seven-goal thriller by visiting Gosport Borough last Wednesday.
George Hallahan gave Town the lead, but the visitors levelled before half-time and went ahead early in the second half. Gideon Vallence equalised and while Gosport got their noses back in front, Archie Fletcher’s strike had the hosts level once again.
Sadly, they were unable to hold on, Gosport grabbing a late goal to win the game 4-3.
The youngsters’ cup game against Eastleigh, which was postponed last Friday, will now take place at The Soccer AM Stadium tomorrow.
