GOALS from Lindsey Beverley and Sam Mosley gave Basingstoke Town Ladies a 2-0 victory away at Fleetlands in the Southern League Premier Division on Sunday.
The hosts made a bright start but Town took the lead on six minutes, Beverley, pictured above, beating the home goalkeeper from outside the area.
Katie Randell and Mosley had shots saved as Basingstoke looked for a second goal, but the lead was doubled on 32 minutes, Mosley firing home from outside the area.
The visitors could have added more goals after the break, with Justine Mosley, Josette Pearmine and Randell all going close, but they had to settle for just two.
The result leaves Basingstoke sixth in the table ahead of a home game against Woodley United Ladies on Sunday.
Meanwhile, the reserves lost 4-1 to visiting Bournemouth Sports Ladies, Laura Butler getting their goal. They travel to Horndean on Sunday.
