DEFENDING champions Old Basing A maintained their lead at the top of Basingstoke Winter Tennis League Mixed division one after a second win.
This time they won 6-2 at Oakley A with Matt Ingham/Anya Still getting a maximum, writes Richard Mole.
Matt Jenkins and Lucy Taylor won all their sets for Overton A in a 7-1 success against Preston Candover A.
Another maximum from Paul Rattue/Julie Frankland saw Oakley A beat Beechdown A 5-3.
In Division Two, Goodworth Clatford, Totally Tennis A and Aldermaston A are the top three teams on the same number of points.
Goodworth occupy top spot after 7-1 wins against Hook A and at Mortimer A with John Baldwin/Ros Hursell winning all their sets against Mortimer.
Totally Tennis A enjoyed 8-0 wins against Preston Candover B and Overton B. Dave Munt/Emma Barnes and Andrew Ridgers/Meryl Paterson made up their team against Overton. Another team on two wins after two matches are Aldermaston A following a 7-1 result against Mortimer A, Karen McKenzie/Tim Maish being unbeaten.
