JOSH Goodall along with his British partner James Auckland lost in four sets in the men’s doubles first round at Wimbledon, to the number nine seeds Wesley Moodie and Dick Norman 3-6, 6-3, 6-4, 6-4, on Wednesday evening.

However, Basingstoke-born Goodall will once again be in action on Thursday afternoon at SW19, when he plays he first ever mixed doubles game with fellow Brit Naomi Cavaday against Lucas Arnold Ker and Gisela Dulko from Argentina.

See the website tomorrow evening to see how Goodall fared and Monday’s Gazette for a full report on both matches.
