BASINGSTOKE tennis ace Josh Goodall was knocked out of Wimbledon on Tuesday afternoon, but not before taking Frenchman Michael Llodra to five sets, eventually losing 4-6, 7-6, 6-4, 3-6, 6-4.
The match which started on Monday night, but was suspended due to bad light with each player having won a set.
When the match resumed in bright sunshine on Tuesday and Llodra drew first blood taking the third set 6-4, but Goodall showed his new resolve and squared the match by winning the fourth set 6-3.
That set up a decider which the Frenchmen won 6-4 on his first break point of the set.
