BASINGSTOKE young tennis ace Dean Cooper-Kirby has continued his excellent form on the summer on the tennis courts with two victories and a runner-up spot in his last three tournaments.

Cooper-Kirby won his club tournament to qualify for the county finals in Southsea of the under-14s Road to Wimbledon.

There he was part of a field of 40 entries in the tournament on the south coast and he booked his place at SW19 next month, after five straight wins.

He will be in action at Wimbledon all this week hoping to win the title.

From here Cooper-Kirby played in the Winchester Babolat Open under-13 Grade Three tournament played at Winchester Tennis Club.
