BEECHDOWN A opened their Basingstoke and District Tennis Summer League Mixed Division One campaign with a 7-1 win over Old Basing A thanks to a maximum from Steph Catlin and Chris Ball.
In Division Two, there were 7-1 wins for both Overton B and RSF A. The Overton team beat Aldermaston B, with Karen Ollive and Eric McCann being unbeaten, as were James Barrett and Karen Holt for RSF A in the win over their B team.
Paul Rattue and Julie Frankland continued their winning ways for Oakley A in a 6-2 result against Mortimer A. Preston Candover got a hard-earned draw at Totally Tennis A.
Jenny Rust and David Burrell and Paula Wiseman and Andy Wallace made up the Oakley B team in their 8-0 win over their C team in Division Three.
In Division Four, the Odiham B team of Roger Searle and Helen Osgerby, along with Graham Jones and Julia Wier, won 8-0 against their C team.
A maximum from Luis Morris and Deb Crook gave Whitchurch a 6-2 success against Old Basing C.
