GOODWORTH Clatford had already been crowned champions of Basingstoke and District Tennis Winter League Ladies Division One before the final three games.

Totally Tennis A beat Beechdown B 8-0, but the Beechdown A team fared better, beating Aldermaston 5-3. Aldermaston beat Winchester 8-0.

Hampshire Court B were confirmed as champions of Division Two after a perfect season, not dropping a set. Their final game was another 8-0 win over Andover.

Mortimer came second after beating Hampshire Court A 6-2, while Totally Tennis B had mixed results, beating Preston Candover 5-3 and then losing 6-2 to Hampshire Court A.
