TOTALLY Tennis A have been crowned Basingstoke and District Winter League Men’s Division One winners following 8-0 victories in their final two games.

The team of Simon Taylor, Miles Bromilow, Ben Jubin and Ali Olrog beat Old Basing A and the team of Simon James, Simon Taylor, Ali Olrog and Jamie Jordan enjoyed success over Goodworth Clatford A.

Goodworth Clatford also lost 7-1 to RSF A thanks to a maximum from the RSF pair of Chris Wise and Earl Sibley. Kingsclere A finished second in division one, with Andover A in third.

Andover B are the Division Two champions. Winchester beat Kingsclere B 8-0 and Kingsclere also lost to Beechdown A (5-3) and Overton (8-0).

The winning Overton team consisted of Liam Hignett, Keiron Heighes, Nat Parratt and Eric McCann.

Beechdown A also beat Waverley A 7-1 thanks to a maximum from Tom Perkins/Chris Harrold. Aldermaston A beat Waverley A 8-0.

Hampshire Court A won their final two fixtures to win Division Three after Odiham only managed a draw against Oakley A in their last match.

Hampshire Court beat both Old Basing B and Mortimer 5-3. Simon and Alex Wood won all their sets in the Mortimer game.

BDH beat Beechdown B thanks to a maximum from Dave Burrell and Andy Wallace. Burrell then paired up with George White to get a maximum for BDH in their 7-1 win against Oakley B. Old Basing B beat Oakley A 5-3.

Odiham B won Division Four after a 6-2 victory in their final match against Beechdown C, with Dave Bisson and Jeremy Hillage getting a maximum.

Second-placed Hampshire Court B (Darren Giddings, Phil Banfield and Simon and Alex Wood) beat Alder-maston B 8-0 before drawing with Sherborne St John.

Hook beat Beachdown C 5-3 and drew against Sherborne St John. Aldermaston B saw off Beechdown C 5-3. Tim Clist and John Mckay went unbeaten in Waverley B’s 6-2 win over Beechdown C.
