TOTALLY Tennis mini performance player Aaron Dawson was part of the Hampshire and Isle of Wight 10-and-under Boys County Cup team that qualified for the Aegon County Cup national finals.

Hampshire got off to a great start in the qualifying competition at Weald Lawn Tennis Squash and Rackets Club, beating Sussex and Surrey, with Dawson winning his rubber in both matches.

The victories helped Hampshire into the semi- finals, where they were victorious against Dorset, setting-up a final against Kent.

Dawson suffered his first singles defeat with narrow loss against Oliver Evans but the Totally Tennis player avenged the defeat, teaming up with Daniel Prickett for the deciding doubles match.

They produced a faultless display to beat Matthew Pickering and Evans without losing a single game.
