KINGSCLERE A still lead the Basingstoke and District Tennis Winter League’s Men’s Division One after a 7-1 victory over RSF A and a draw with Andover A.

They can now only be caught by Totally Tennis A, who still have two games left and had mixed results in their last two outings.

They won 8-0 against RSF B thanks to Simon James, Ben Jubin, Simon Taylor and Miles Bromilow, but lost 6-2 to RSF A.

Second-placed Andover A have finished their campaign after 6-2 wins over Kintbury and RSF B. Kintbury finished their season with a 5-3 win against RSF A and a draw with Goodworth Clatford.

Andover B remain top of Division Two despite a 7-1 loss to Overton A. Kieran Heighes/Liam Hignett were unbeaten.

Winchester are still in contention thanks to two draws against Preston Candover and Waverley A and a 5-3 win against Kingsclere B. Aldermaston A lost 7-1 to Beechdown A.

Odiham A head Division Three after a 6-2 win at Mortimer.

Mortimer then had two good wins. They beat Beechdown B 5-3, Ben Money/Nick Harris winning all of their sets, while Harris then teamed up with Dave Thomas during a 7-1 success against Oakley B.

Oakley A beat BDH 5-3, with Kelvin Wilcox and Chris Wong being unbeaten. Beechdown B beat Oakley B 8-0 thanks to Nick Goodall, Darrel Blair, Tim Williams and Mark Easto.

Odiham B are the new Division Four leaders after they won at 6-2 Hook, Roger Barnacle/Jeremy Hillage winning all of their sets.

Hillage then teamed up with Peter Jealous for a 6-2 win at Waverley B. Totally Tennis B are in second after a 6-2 success at Waverley B, as Rex Groves/Tim Rice did the damage. Sherborne St John beat Aldermaston B 6-2.

Hampshire Court B beat Newbury 5-3 and Beechdown C 7-1 thanks to a maximum from Simon and Alex Wood.
