KINGSCLERE A joined Andover A at the top of Basingstoke and District Tennis League Men’s Division One after their latest three wins.

The teams are now locked at the top with 12 points and the match between them is set to decide the title.

Kingsclere’s triple whammy of success came thanks to their team of Chris Pearce/Paul Rattue and Daniel Cole/Steve Mills, as they beat Overton A 8-0, RSF A 7-1 and Goodworth Clatford A 5-3.

Andover A chalked up their sixth straight win with an 8-0 victory over RSF A.

Elsewhere in the division, Old Basing A beat bottom team Preston Candover 8-0 and a maximum from Liam Hignett/Sean McDonald gave Overton A a 7-1 win at Preston Candover.

Totally Tennis A moved to the top of Division Two after wins against Beechdown B (8-0) and Winchester (5-3).

The Andover B team of Jeff Lill/Sam Birks and Jeremy Fradgley/Glyn Jones gave them an 8-0 win against Waverley B.

Hoss Ashraf/Chris Ball won all their sets for Beechdown B in a 5-3 win against Oakley B.

RSF B moved clear at the top of Division Three with wins against Mortimer A (8-0) and BDH (6-2).

A maximum from Dan Arnold/Lewis Nicholls gave Andover C a 7-1 win at Beechdown C.

BDH won 5-3 against Goodworth Clatford C, while Dave Thomas/Stuart Evans recorded a maximum for Mortimer A in their 5-3 win against Hook.

Hampshire Court B moved further clear of their own A team at the top of Division Four after wins against Old Basing C 7-1 and Oakley C 6-2. Simon Wood/Steve Wakefield were unbeaten in both matches.

A maximum from Nick Harris/Will Bingam gave Mortimer B a 7-1 win against Totally Tennis C, while Sherborne drew with Aldermaston B.
