Dixon in farewell loss

DIRECTOR of rugby Jim Dixon's five year era at Basingstoke ended in defeat, but his side certainly turned in a spirited performance at Down Grange.
Stoke ended up on the wrong end of 54-10 scoreline against visiting Worthing, as Glenike Hawea and Simon Buckland scored the home side's unconverted tries.
The Sussex side who finished second in the league, scored eight tries of which seven were converted.
