LONDON Irish will get their Premiership campaign under way with a tough-looking game against Leicester Tigers.
The Exiles, who finished 10th in the table last season and have lost all three of their pre-season games, welcome the Tigers to the Madejski Stadium on Sunday (3.15pm).
Leicester finished third in the Premiership last season and are expected to challenge for honours again this time around.
Irish have been boosted by the news that academy graduate Tom Fowlie has signed a two-year contract extension.
The centre said: "I am really excited to have signed an extension at London Irish. I came through the Academy and it is great to be staying here.
"I am really excited by the direction in which the club is moving and I am looking forward to being a part of it."
