LONDON Irish collected the losing bonus point after they lost at Harlequins 26-20 in the Premiership.
The early exchanges came from boots of Quins Nick Evans and the Exiles Shane Geraghty as the home side led 12-6.
Harlequins extended their lead thanks to a converted try from Danny Care, but the visitors hit back with a score of their own from James Short to make it 19-13 at the break.
The home side were first to get the scoreboard moving after the break as Matthew Hopper scored.
Then against the run of play Tom Fowlie went over for a try to set up a tense finish to the game.
The Exiles are next in action at home on Saturday March 28, when they entertain Newcastle.
