LONDON Irish slipped to 11th in the Premiership after they suffered a 22-6 defeat at the hands of Saracens.
The home side built-up an 11-0 lead by half-time, thanks to a try from Dave Strettle and a two Owen Farrell penalties.
After the break, Tom Homer made amends for a missed kick in the opening 40 minutes with two successful penalties.
However, the boot of Farrell restored the 11 point advantage and then Strettle’s second try completed the scoring.
The Exiles next match is at the Madejski Stadium a week today when they face a visit from Exeter in a game which has a 3pm kick-off.
