LONDON Irish were unable to complete a quick double over Stade Fancais as they lost 32-14 in Paris on Saturday night.
The Exiles points came from an early Andrew Fenby try and three penalties kicked by Shane Geraghty.
The result saw Stade go level with Irish at the top of the Amlin Cup group with two games remaining.
The Exiles return to Premiership action this week, with a trip to Sale Sharks on Friday night (kick-off 8pm).
