OVERTON RFC are up to sixth in the Hampshire Two table thanks to a comfortable victory away at local rivals Kingsclere.
The Laverstoke Park club won 29-7 at the Fieldgate Centre to pile more misery on struggling Kingsclere, who travel to mid-table Fawley on Saturday.
Overton have another local derby on Saturday, hosting second-placed Chineham, who kept their promotion charge on track with a 21-0 win away at Aldershot and Fleet last weekend.
Tadley picked up two bonus points to move off the bottom of London Three South East, scoring four tries in their 34-31 defeat away at fourth-placed Old Allaynians. However, they remain 15 points from safety, with games fast running out, and their next game sees them host top-of-the-table Tottonians this weekend.
Aldermaston remain bottom of the Berks, Bucks and Oxon Championship after losing 45-20 away at Berkshire Shire Hall. Their next game is a trip to mid-table Faringdon.
