CHINEHAM Lions RFC returned to winning ways in Hampshire Two with a comfortable 56-0 victory over visiting Aldershot and Fleet.
The hosts led 28-0 at half-time on their way to a big win over one of the division’s struggling sides. Kieran Daley scored two tries, with Sam Goddal, Tom Johnson, Karl Pullen, Matt Heley, Jack Webster and Jonty Moody also on the scoresheet.
Chineham sit third in the table heading into a Hampshire Plate tie against local rivals Overton on Saturday.
Overton found second-placed Ventnor too hot to handle last weekend, going down to a 22-7 defeat on the Isle of Wight, a result that leaves them seventh in the table.
Kingsclere enjoyed their first win of the season, beating bottom side Nomads 32-17 to move up to eighth in the table ahead of a home game against Farnborough in the Hampshire Plate this weekend.
