LODDON Vale Bowling Club opens its doors to new bowlers this Saturday and Sunday from 10am until 4pm on both days.
So if you would like to come along and try the game at this excellent facility then this is the ideal time to do this.
Rounding up the outdoor season it has now been confirmed that St Mary Bourne Hawks have been relegated from Whitchurch League Division One and Old Basing Cavaliers drop from Division Two to even out the teams in each division next season.
Hook Sapphires won the championship of the Stan Hardman League, comfortably beating Basingstoke Town last Thursday on all rinks for a total score of 64-37.
Andover and Kingsclere played their final match outside of the Basingstoke District Bowling Association league programme.
So it was perhaps justice that Andoverwill be relegated as they lost on all rinks and hence Howard Park remain in Division One.
