FORMER Basingstoke RFC colt Tom Rees will remain at Wasps until at least 2013 after signing a two-year contract extension.
The 25-year-old England international made his debut for the Adams Park club in 2005 but endured a difficult 2009/10 season, making just five appearances due to two shoulder injuries.
Rees, the club captain, said: “Having come through a difficult season with injury, the support of everyone at the club was fantastic and just further cements that ‘Wasps Family’ that we all talk about.
“We have a great squad, coaching team and group of fans and I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else.”
Rees was picked to play for England Saxons this summer but has chosen to remain at Wasps to continue his rehabilitation.
