LONDON Irish still remain winless in the Premiership, after they lost 45-14 to visiting Bath.

Rhys Priestland’s early penalty, plus converted tries from Leroy Houston and Ollie Devoto made it 17-0 to the visitors.

The Exiles then had scrum half Brendan McKibbin red carded for stamping on the head of Henry Thomas.

However, despite being reduced to 14 men, Scott Steele went over for a try, which Shane Geraghty converted and the score was 17-7 at half-time.

After the break, Bath scored two more converted tries from Alafuti Faosiliva and Kyle Eastmond, before Fergus Mulchrone went over for the home side and Geraghty kicked the extras.

Bath completed the scoring with scores from Priestland and Niko Matawalu.

London Irish take a break from the Premiership on Saturday (3pm), when they face a visit from French side Agen in the European Challenge Cup.
