LONDON Irish will face Edinburgh, Grenoble and Agen in the pool stage of next season's European Challenge Cup.

The Exiles topped their pool last season and the draw means that they will get the chance to gain revenge on Edinburgh, who beat them in the quarter-finals of the competition last time around.

They also played Grenoble in last year's competition, beating the French side both home and away on their way to winning the pool.

Agen won promotion to the French top flight last season, securing a place in the European Challenge Cup as a result.

London Irish operations manager, Bob Casey, said: "The European Challenge Cup is proving to be a very competitive tournament. We have played all of our opponents in recent seasons so know how difficult it will be to progress to the knock-out stages."
