SALE Sharks cruised to a 36-8 Premiership victory over visiting London Irish, as the visitors had two players sin binned in the first 40 minutes.
It was Exiles who took the lead thanks a Chris Noakes penalty, but the home side hit back as Dave Seymour scored a try and then Danny Cipriani added a conversion and penalty.
Irish’s David Paice was then yellow card and from this Dan Braid scored to make it 15-3.
Right on the stroke of half-time, a penalty try for Sale, saw Luke Narraway also sin binned which reduced Irish to 13-men, as they left the field.
After the break, Paice returned to the field only for Sale to be awarded a second penalty try.
The visitors looked to have got on the board, thanks to Alex Lewington, but the television match official ruled he had not touched down.
The Exiles finally scored from George Skivington, but Andy Forsyth then replied as Sale won the game 36-8.
Irish will hope to do better when they entertain third placed Bath, at the Madejski Stadium on Saturday (kick-off 3pm).
