LONDON Irish enjoyed their first win in 11 years at Welford Road as they beat home side Leicester Tigers 22-19 in the Premiership.
Shane Geraghty kicked 17 points for the Exiles in the victory and this sets them up nicely for the visit of Northampton to the on Saturday (kick-off 3pm).
Irish led 13-6 at half-time with Geraghty’s kicking two penalties and a conversion from Halani Aulika's try.
All of Leicester’s points came from the boot of Freddie Burns.
A Burns kick and converted Niki Goneva try levelled the scores, before Geraghty penalties either side of an Owen Williams kick sealed victory.
