LONDON Irish picked up the losing bonus point, as they were defeated 20-15 by Harlequins, at Twickenham on Saturday, in their opening Premiership outing.
Shane Geraghty kicked all the Exiles points, as they hit back and kept Harlequins off the scoreboard in the second-half Unfortunately, the damage was done in the opening 40 minutes, as their London rivals led 20-6 at the break.
This was thanks to tries from Ugo Monye and Ollie Lindsay-Hague, while Nick Evans kicked two conversions and two penalties.
Irish will hope to do better next weekend, when on Sunday (kick-off 3pm) they are away to Newcastle Falcons.
Their first home Premiership game is on September 20, when they entertain Saracens at the Madejski Stadium.
