TADLEY Tigers under-14s won the Plate section of the Hampshire Cup at the end of a bruising 31-12 encounter with visitors Gosport & Fareham.
The team had the trophy presented to them by London Irish No 8 Chris Hala’ufia.
Tadley’s success has continued in the Berkshire Youth League.
After winning Division B last season, they have made excellent progress in Division A and with one match to play are fourth in the table, after they beat visiting Reading 24-0.
The under-14s, under the direction of head coach Glenn Charles, have relished the challenge and acquitted themselves well all season, improving with every game.
