LONDON Irish suffered a disappointing Premiership defeat at the hands of Exeter Chiefs 18-0 in Devon on Saturday.
The home side only led 6-0 at the break thanks to a pair of Henry Slade penalties.
Early in the second half, Phil Dollman extended their lead with a try that Slade converted in off the post.
The Chiefs were reduced to 14 men when Ben White was shown a yellow card, before Ian Whitten crossed late on to seal a much-needed home victory.
The Exiles had only one penalty all game and James O'Connor’s attempt rebounded off the upright.
London Irish are now not in action until Saturday March 22, when they entertain Bath in a Premiership encounter at the Madejski Stadium (kick-off 5.30pm).
