Plenty in Reserve for Aldridge
Aldridge Vehicles Res FC

Aldridge Veh Res 4 Enham 2.

Royal Oak sponsored Aldridge Reserves claimed the Division 2 title in their first season together.

Steve Aldridge gave them an early two goal lead then completed his hat-trick and reached 30 goals when he latched on to Dave Aldridge's flicked header.

Five minutes from half-time Dave Aldridge scored a thoroughly deserved goal. Enham made it 4-2 but Vehicles held out to be crowned deserved champions. All at the club would like to thank the players for their hard work and a special thank you also should go to Pete Cadman of the Royal Oak Charlton for his continued support and managerial skills.

Test Valley Lions 2 Abbotts Ann 4.

Abbotts Ann completed the double over Test Valley Lions, knowing that runners-up spot had been secured.

Test Valley opened the scoring when their keeper launched the ball and and with one bounce it settled into the back of the net. By half-time Abbotts Ann were in front with goals from John Robb and Gary Smith.

Lions equalised but further goals from Freitag and a second for Gary Smith made the points safe.

KFT 1 Abbotts Ann 4.

Abbotts Ann defeated KFT at the third time of asking in the last game of the season.

Sadly the game was marred with a ligament injury to top scorer Ian Freitag who had secured his 30th goal earlier in the game. Abbotts Ann took the lead with a penalty from Mike Thorn and Nick Newman scored his 18th to double the lead.

Ashton Summerfield who was man of the match smashed home the fourth to complete a great season for the village side.

Entertainer 9 Burbage and Easton 2.

ENTERTAINER made it 22 league wins with their last game of the season.

Shuffling the side around, centre half Steve Turner 2, Rob Burroughs 2, keeper John Stebbings, Rich Hewlitt, Gary Haines, Gary Thorne and Ben Clarke all scored.

Cookie Nixon was club and league top scorer with 61 and the Division Three champions would like to thank Maggie and Taff from the Entertainer and all supporters after this successful season.
