England suffer series whitewash

England suffered a 71-run defeat against Pakistan today - completing a 3-0 series whitewash.

Needing 324 for an unlikely win in Dubai, England were bowled out for 252.

Alastair Cook (49) and Matt Prior (49*) were the only England batsmen to put up much resistance as Umar Gul (4/61) and Saeed Ajmal (4/67) completed Pakistan's impressive series.

We need more turning wickets in this country to help batsmen develop the necessary skills but when Hampshire produced one last season we had 8 points deducted! Well done ECB...
