Tottonians will aim to safeguard their London 1 south mid-table position tomorrow by producing their third away win of the season.

Totts will be looking to make up for a rare home loss to Medway a week ago with victory at second-from-bottom Twickenham.

And it will be a big day for forward Oli King, another product of Tottonians’ colt conveyor belt, who makes his bow on the bench.

He has played for the club since joining the Under-7s and played in the same colts’ side as Kevin Raqio, who has secured a regular first team place this season.

Coach Gavin Williams said: “We aim to bounce back after last week and continue our positive string of results on the road.

“Back row Ali Ramus will return after a long term injury and will bring much needed experience and control to our set piece.

“Nick Jones is rested as a precaution after suffering a knock to the head and we will field the same front row that dominated league leaders Sutton & Epsom scrum.

“Mike Wisneski returns to the squad and will bring his own brand of hard work and aggression from the bench.”

Totts still lead Hampshire’s charge in the league ahead of Havant, who are at home to third-placed Sidcup, and Gosport & Fareham who head for Kent to take on Medway.

Winchester travel to south London with their tails up to play KCS Old Boys, following a decent performance against perennial rivals Weybridge Vandals.

Despite the filthy conditions it was the first time this season that Winchester have got some flow and tempo into their London 2 South-West campaign.

Tom Forster excelled on the wing, as did debutante fullback John Falconer.

Head coach Andy Fields is hoping the performance was not a one-off and that his side are able to continue to find the right balance between kicking for territory and running the ball.

He has injury concerns over key centre Greg Sullivan and is hoping that Winchester University utility back Dan Smith will be fit to take his place if necessary.

University back five player Nye Rees, who has shown real fight when called upon this season, is likely to move into the second row for Jack Taggart who is unavailable.

Andover travel to the only side below them in the league, Basingstoke, with the aim of stepping above third-from-bottom Weybridge, who face leaders Cobham.
